Donors

Talk about a cow that needs no introduction! If you are a Simmental enthusiast, you will understand our excitement to own her. We will be utilizing her heavily in our ET program to put as many daughters in our herd as we can. We love everything about her from her disposition, to her powerful phenotype, to her impressive ability to produce breed-leading sires. Her progeny are highly anticipated.

38W is like fine wine. She keeps getting better with age. Now that she has several daughters in production, her influence keeps floating to the top of elite Simmental cattle. In her short time here, she’s quickly become one of the highest earning cows on our ranch to date. She consistently passes on her excellent feet, great disposition and an attractive phenotype everyone notices. We are especially excited about utilizing her in our red program and have added an Authority daughter to our donor pen.

When you can produce a bull like Manifesto in the first attempt, you belong in the donor pen. E352 is a favorite of visitors. She’s an easy keeping cow that is easy on the eyes with great feet and ample rib and width. We like the 701T females and know she comes from a great cow family, so we will propagate her as much as we can.

E704 is always a favorite of those who see her. She was selected as pick of our cowherd to flush not once but twice by our friends at Rydeen Farms and Lazy C Diamond Ranch. Since, she has earned almost 100K in progeny sales, and she’s not finished yet! Her attractive front end, coupled with the rib and muscle she injects into every mating, make her a unique donor that is fun to work with. Sadly, we lost her this past summer so her direct progeny will be limited, but we hope to utilize sons to keep her influence in our program.

We saw Yankee a few years ago at the Tom Brothers Ranch in TX and we were very impressed with her. Needless to say when she came up for sale we knew we had to own her. She is the most impressive Beef King daughter we have ever seen and her progeny are stamped with the same phenotype as their powerful dam. Watch for her progeny in our sales!

Zada was our selection at the 2013 ND Simmental Showcase Classic sale and that purchase turned out to be a very smart investment! She was a logical choice to flush because of her prolific cow family, her EPD profile, and her ability to transmit head turning phenotype. Her cow family consistently produces sale toppers and high dollar generating progeny. We will utilize her heavily in our donor program. Her litter of Ambition calves is tremendous!
